Tell Your Story
Contribute to a greater understanding of education history.
This dissertation research study examines the experiences of Diné (Navajo) formerly enrolled in the Mormon Indian Student Placement Program during its half-century of operation (1947-2000). Documenting first-hand accounts of Chinle, Many Farms, Rough Rock, and Round Rock community members will contribute to a more expansive understanding of an educational program affecting Diné during the 20th century.
